At this time I would like to say Welcome to our newest member and sponsor: Tanka Bar !

I just became acquainted with Linda Crider from this company while I was at the Archery Trade Association (Jan. 13-15th. 2010). Her Company is affiliated with Lakota Archery and her booth was attached to Lakota's booth. Linda is an awesome dynamo and she made sure that I had PLENTY of Wonderful Tanka Bars to keep my strength up during the show. ;) :) :D (she even sent me home with enough Tanka Treats for the trip home and a few extra days. :)

Tanka Bars will be linking Our Forum to Their Blog, so we are going to do the same thing. Hopefully we will form a great allegiance with them and all of their members!

If you would like to learn more about Tanka Products, Please go to:

If you contact them, Please mention that you heard about them from our forum or Dick Raymond. That way they will know that we are trying to live up to our end of the deal. ;) :) :D

Sounds like a great snack bar for the pack and a day afield. I sent them a email requesting shelf life info on their Tankabar.
I know Safeway food stores just recently has started to carry Buffalo burger. kinda on the expensive side, but better than just the one store we had before. Competition is good for the economy it brings prices down.

Hey Mark,
This is what I found on their web site:

HOW SHOULD I STORE TANKA PRODUCTS?
Unopened Tanka Bars and Tanka Bites, Traditional and Spicy flavors, can be stored in a cool, dry place and not in direct sunlight for up to one year. After opening, they must be refrigerated. While Tanka Dogs are fully cooked, they must be kept frozen or refrigerated below 40 degrees fahrenheit at all times.

Yes, Sir Bout the same thing in the return email I received. sounds like a good snack for a hunting pack. as with anything else the shipping cost makes it something I probably won't order.
Guess one day I'll get tired of the outragous shipping prices and move back to the mainland, Till then? I'll keep on hunting and wishing.

I did make reference to our site in the Email, forgot to mention that in my post here.

Thanks for the info Dick
